Hi Ashley, I like the patterned background. I also have someone who is interested (besides myself)in a portrait. One person asked me if this is like photoshop or something. I have seen your previous work, so I know it is not, but it would be helpful if you mentioned the medium, etc. Our marketing director, a talented artist himself, loved it. But agrees you need to be specific about the medium. Aunt Jacque
Ash - I like the background and the way it works with the rest of the painting. I agree with the comment of how the painting expresses Winston's personality! He seems to be all nose...which is so much like a lab. Agree with the idea to give some info on the medium you used as well as the demensions of the painting.
Wow Ash!! That is absolutely amazing! Winston is too cute. It is tough to decide which one I like better, but I think I am leaning towards the patterned background. Both portraits are awesome. Great job! I am gonna forward these portraits to my parents.
